HOW THE AUDIO INTERACTIVE FEATURE WORKS
STEP 1 You complete a piano tuning.
STEP 2. You
make a recording (on CD or mp3 music file) of each of twelve specified
notes in the middle of the keyboard.
STEP 3. You make recordings of specified
notes in the higher section of the keyboard.
STEP 4. You make recordings of
specified notes in the lower section of the keyboard.
STEP 5. You submit your
recording to DISTANCE LEARNING INTERNATIONAL.
Up to two separate and individual samples can be
sent.
EVALUATION: Within 1-2 weeks, you
receive an evaluation of how accurately you tuned the middle section of the
keyboard (one of the most critical aspects of a tuning), as well as how you did
on the upper and lower tones. This evaluation includes helpful suggestions and
comments designed to point you in the right direction and to expedite your
progress. For example, some students tend to over-stretch the higher notes,
while others may have some difficulties perfecting the middle section. In each
case, we would offer professional advice and instruction and help
the student make necessary corrections.
